Adaptive reuse is changing or modifying the original function to a new one. Usually, it requires some modifications ensure that building can meet requirements of building's function. The sustainability construction gains lot from adaptive concept. Many heritage buildings have been adaptively reused for various purposes. However, approach conserving in Malaysia needs be practised with right concepts and methods. To succeed concept, factors such as location, modification, services, promotion, management must done correctly. Significant losses avoided if well-planned. hotel one catalysts tourism industry. This research aims analyse perspective guests, especially tourists internationally locally, on core buffer zones George Town, UNESCO World Heritage City. questionnaires were distributed hundred twenty-two (122) respondents, which are get feedback their experiences while staying respondents requested give at using 5-point Likert scale. collected data analysed descriptively. result shows respondent was satisfied stayed hotel. Although good experience stay, there still way improvement. findings also show essential parties involved industry follow act practice make sure future generations will opportunity see appreciate current form constructed hundreds years ago.
